About the Listing:

Sadly I can’t afford to purchase land unless I sell my beloved skoolie that I wanted to live in while building. I also want to settle down and it would be a waste to park this beauty after spending so much time and energy on the new wheels, tires, all the engine work, etc that we did to make her super safe to drive!

Mechanical:
My dad was bored during the pandemic and being a car guy AND a car accident lawyer he is super into road safety and wouldn’t even consider me or anyone else driving it unless it was in excellent condition. So he ordered new wheels (yup, not just tires, but entire new wheels), tires, and had his mechanic friends work over all the mechanical systems head to toe until it was driving like a beauty! The best part is that it runs on propane, so it is insanely cheap to drive! They redid the electrical, brakes, you name it, and kept working until it was driving like a dream.

INTERIOR:
I redid the interior from a nice clean shell. The original owners did that work and had a licensed electrician install proper household power with a fuse box, plugs, and everything, so all you need to do is plug the bus into any extension cord to run all the interior stuff. No batteries or weird confusing panels etc. It’s all clean and safe and works just like your house at home! That being said, it’s always nice to have the option of being off grid so I also have included a really cool solar generator, which can charge from solar panels or even from your car or my plugging it into your house (or someone elses)!

Here’s the link

I installed a 3 way fridge and a propane oven/cook top in addition to all the adorable vintage inspired electric appliances for off grid cooking that you can see in the pictures.
There is a propane powered hot water on demand system new in box, it’s the same one I use at my cabin and it’s great because you don’t actually need electricity to use it, and it’s portable so you can shower outside if you want to! The bath tub is a brand new stock tank that pulls out from under the sink (again, I would want to use the stock tank outside, so it’s not bolted down)

The kitchen is all brand new from IKEA with loads of counter space and lots of storage below. Also tons of magnetic wall storage too. I have all sorts of appliances that can be included in the sale, or not if you don’t need them. Not pictured I have a double burner induction cook top because it doesn’t get hot to touch and is safer if you have kids or pets in the bus!

The bed is at the back, it’s a queen size bed with room at the end for a little book shelf/ entertainment area. Underneath there are two full size dressers for clothes (on each side) plus loads of room for everything else. I keep the Porta potty under there too (just a simple one because that’s all I tend to need, but there’s room to move things around inside the bus if you want to put in a larger toilet area).

The couch is a brand new futon from IKEA that folds down to make another bed for two more people. Lots of little storage in and around it.

For lights, I didn’t want to bump my head so I use lamps plugged in as well as these awesome solar lights that hang in the windows and charge all day. They give excellent ambient light at night time.

I didn’t want to deal with a wood stove so I did a lot of research and got a special heater made for tiny houses. It’s electric but doesn’t use much and the unit doesn’t get hot itself so it’s safe for a small space. If you want tonlive in the bus in the winter you might need another heat source though. I do have a wood stove that came with the bus that I didn’t install that you can have for free if you want.

I’m asking $35,000, but if you don’t want or need all the off grid appliances (3 way fridge, propane stove/oven, off grid power supply/solar generator etc) I can put the blue mini fridge back in and drop the price.

I’m also open to trades for land or a tiny house to park on the land (ie without an engine).

Feel free to ask me any questions. Located in New Westminster, just outside Vancouver.
