About the Listing:
Beautiful hand built tiny home built in 2016. This unit is full of character and ready to go. Its 21 feet long and 8.5 feet wide.
The exterior is made of cedar shiplap siding with Fir trim. All the trim was recently revarnished. The front door is a reclaimed solid fir door.
The bedroom is a loft with a queen size bed and ample clothing storage at the bed side. The dormers open up the roof and you can sit up comfortable in bed.
There are 17 windows making the home super bright even when its parked in the woods. They’re custom made of fir with 5mm single pane glass. We have had no issues with cold or water. They’re nicely sealed and with the antimicrobial wool curtains, we have kept mold, mildew and bacteria at bay.
The bathroom is made of cedar toungue and groove boards. The toilet is a brand new Natures Head composting toilet and the shower is made of marine grade plywood with a green resin tint finish and fir shower floor. The tub has a live-edge slab that is 23″ tall that works great as a Japanese styler soaker tub. For privacy there is a sliding pocket door made of reclaimed flooring.
The kitchen includes a 4 burner stove and oven that runs on propane and a tall apartment sized fridge that runs on shore power. The sink in a Kohler farmhouse sink. Hot water for the shower and sink comes from a tankless on demand water heater from Takagi. It also runs on propane. There is a closet that we use for jackets and lots of kitchen storage. The flooring throughout is all reclaimed fir.
The stairs is all storage. We designed it so our dog could get upstairs. We also made a spot for his bed under the “junk drawer”
For heat, we have a Cubic Grizzly wood stove which keeps us toasty in the winter. We supplement it with a space heater. I would recommend something with a controllable digital thermostat.
There is also a fold down table with a beautiful wood inlay for dining. The couch and ottoman can be using as dining chairs or to lounge. above that is a second storage loft with a ladder for access.
It is currently stored in the Upper Squamish Valley. We can show it every weekend. You can call or text for quicker response.
